From what I saw in person the A-pillar should be like what JDMJim has said, vinyl than can be peeled off. No biggie.

As for RWD, that was just a rumor started somewhere on the net that got way too out of hand and no real concrete information ever came about. Only RWD car we will see is the FT-86, and the way things have been going for Toyota I doubt we will see it anytime soon. Wouldn't surprise me if it comes out well pass their 2012 date.

No. It was never a rumor. The tC was NEVER going to be AWD, it was NEVER going to get the boxer engine, and it was NEVER going to have anything to do with the FT86. The people who actually believe any of that crap, are morons.

Hence why it's a rumor

Again, no. More than just morons will believe rumors. The only people who thought the tC was going to be the FT86/turbo/AWD, were morons.

The look of the new tC is growing on me. It wasn't like the hot chick at school love-at-first-sight I had when I saw my tC. It's more like the girl next door that you never paid attention too growing up, then one day you walk in on her naked and you start liking her. If that makes any sense.

Websters Rumor-1 : talk or opinion widely disseminated with no discernible source
2 : a statement or report current without known authority for its truth

Dictionary.com-
1.a story or statement in general circulation without confirmation or certainty as to facts: a rumor of war.
2.gossip; hearsay: Don't listen to rumor.

I've heard a ton of other tings about the car that were never mentioned on here that wound up to not be true. The term rumor is appropriate.

The NY Auto Show color IS cement, it looked light blue in the lighting there, but I was assured it was cement

...the interior looks like a f**king corolla. the exterior looks like a camry, tc, and a new nissan sentra drove into some toxic waste. What a let down..

wow with the A-pillars matching the color of the car it looks a lot better in my opinion but that's just me. I might actually like this if they tweak the interior.

Seriously for the love of all that is holy in the world of autos. I like the new interior and the fact that they finally put a 6 speed in it but damn only 180hp for 20k. I just don't understand why Toyota won't just fold and finally come out with a factory boosted car like everyone else. Oh well my next car is gonna be a used Mazda Speed3 I can get those all day for around 14k and it will blow this new little pud smucker off the road. Good try Scion but still a Fail!!

does anyone have an engine bay pic of the tC and I wonder if you can swap the 6 speed off the 2.5 into the 2.4

so after seeing one inperson, there is ONE thing i would like to see changed. on teh dashboard, there is this one round airvent. all the rest are integrated into the dash. so CALTY, WTF were you thinking when you did that. you design that on Friday?

the rest of the car is fine. it will sell. Chicago recieved the car really well i think. I don't hate it at all. complain about price? it's still cheaper than a Corrolla XRS fools!
