tc interior
does anyone else think the interior of the new tc is just plain awful. It looks like a downgrade than what the current cars interior looks like. Serious disappointment. I'm already looking to get rid of my tc, i'm seriously tired of driving a rattling car.

so do something about it. rather than complain, fix it. it would be great when you get a new car and it rattles too. then you can keep complaining...
seriously guys. the new cars aren;t made for you specifically. you already have your cars and are...well....somewhat happy with them. the new cars are made for a new generation of buyers. and they will continue to sell cars. so rather than complain about how nasty they are, just welcome the new owners when they come into the events. geez people. such hate and negativity.

NOPE!!!!!!
the seats looks much better than the old one, the steering wheel looks awesome.. I WANT ONE FOR ME OLD TC!
the air wents ( and the steering wheel as well) looks very similar to what they have in the ft86 concept!
the odo/rpm gauges looks better
the center console is a step down.... but at least its still easy to upgrade to a new HU...
To be honest i cant wait to see some real life comparo from car and driver.
Btw they just tested a few cars... golf and mazd 3 sport, kia forte costs around 20k and has less hp than the new tc! so u we cant really complain about that. of course its still not as good as the civic si....but...

If you pay anything over the invoice, you suck at buying cars.

I was going off the invoice, which was $20,100.

Like I said - 2004 prices were higher:

Add a few options and your at 25k MSRP - as that is what folks use to compare prices on cars they are interested in.
The 2005 price drop was to deplate the stock before the tC hit the market as they knew the tC would take sales from the Celica and it soon departed the US market.

Just saw a black one while I was driving through Torrance CA today. I really didn't like the car from all the pics that I have seen. Now that I saw in person it doesn't look that bad. I got a crappy video on my cell phone. Will post up it a little bit.

The only thing more depressing than the exterior styling, the interior styling, the weight of this tC2, etc., is the fact that the thing will be the Scion flagship through, most likely at least, 2015 or later. Would have been far better to just upgrade the tC1 to the 2.5L and the 6 speed -- a far better car would have resulted.

2011 tC WTF?
ok so as far as performance specs go the tC has received along over do revamp....but what is Scion doing with the looks!?! It looks like they are trying to make a tC into an EVo or something! lets not make the tC something it is not...until you decide to put some boost onto one of these engines the tC doesnt belong in the same category. And as for the interior...wtf? Cheap cheap cheap! Huge crappy looking ***** for the a/c! WHAT?! And the swirled design on the seats! ___! Come on Toyota/Scion the tC needed a remodel yes...but dont try and make it something it is not and dont cheese it up!
