I heard someone the other day tell me that Kia is so good they can offer a 10yr warranty.... I had to smack some sense into him and tell him that that is the only reason they can sell a car.... personaly I would get a used toyota with 200.000 miles then a brand new Kia or Hyundai...

My Dad owns his own biz doing Subaru maintenance for over 25 years. He knows them inside and out and says they are one of the most reliable cars on the road. There have been flaws in the past and he could point out each of them to you, but Subaru has fixed them going forward.

I still like the Toyota and Honda's over the Subaru's, and I've owned Subaru's in the past as well.

I've owned a '95 Subaru Legacy AWD, and that car was bulletproof. My parents bought it off of me when I went to boot camp, and it's still going strong with almost 200K on the clock.

I now own an xB, and love it just as much as my old 'Ru. My parents actually like my car so much that they're buying two new Outbacks when they go car shopping this year.
