Own an MR2 but want a Pagani Zonda?
Want to get your hands on an impossibly exotic Pagani Zonda supercar for a mere $50,000? Okay, so maybe the Rabbit MR2 PG-Z isn’t the all-carbon, Italian beast powered by a 7.3-liter AMG V12. But it sure looks the part.
The Rabbit MR2 PG-Z is one of the craziest and most ambitious projects to come out of Japan. In a quest to create something different, Porsche tuner Rabbit Corp. has transformed a Toyota MR2 into a Zonda lookalike. Although still in the early stages (the photos show a wood model—note the lack of headlights), the idea is to offer a full transformation to MR2 owners who want something unique.
To come close to the actual proportions of the Pagani, Rabbit had to extend the wheelbase by almost 12 inches. The whole roof section was custom built by lowering and inclining the pillars, mimicking the lines of the Zonda, while all the glass was hand cut.
Rabbit Corp. built its prototype to gauge interest and has yet to finish the interior and engine. With an estimated $30,000 premium over the price of an MR2, the Rabbit PG-Z project might never develop to its full potential. Then again the Japanese crave originality and uniqueness enough that the Rabbit MR2 Zonda might be just what they’re looking for.

Don'te get me wrong, the Zonda is CRAZY in terms of styling (good crazy), but one cannot call it "original" when they bite someone else's design.
If anything could be learned from this prototype, Supercar lines & angles are freakin AWESOME!
My $0.02

Screw it, I'll get it and just park it in the garage. Can I order JUST the body and wheels? That will be good enough to make the neighbors jealous without having to admit it isn't the real deal.

on wikipedia, they have a picture of an sw20 with a body kit to make it look like a ferrari f355. guess the trend with the car is to provide the performance of the mr drivetrain, with the affordability and reliability of toyota. and if you want, you can make them look like an italian job
