“Scion’s iQ concept turns traditional auto design upside down,” said Jack Hollis, vice president of Scion. “Traditionally, small vehicles have been thought of as being basic. The iQ concept is just the opposite, with its innovative features and iconic urban design, and we believe it fits in well within the Scion brand. Our young, trend-setting buyers are creative and innovative forward thinkers, and we think they will appreciate what iQ has to offer.”
Overseas, the iQ putt-putts around with a 1-liter 67-horsepower engine — but it gets 65 miles to the gallon A racier 1.3-liter power plant with 99 horsepower gets 54 m.p.g. Americans would probably get something more powerful and less fuel-efficient — and that would be too bad.

if that is stock for under 15k i'm buying it!
I think the power to weigh ratio will be amazing and it sits so wide it should take corners like its a roller coaster on rails.
Like others said, some people really like this car I think it looks amazing

Yeah, that car has been modified with 5 axis. The real iQ, when finally released, will be watered down. The iQ in this shot looks lowered, has premium tires and rims, and it seems like there's a body kit on there, but I don't know how they installed it on there because I don't see any separation lines from the rest of the body, unless the 5 axis kit for this car is THAT incredible.
To keep costs down, it'll be watered down. Scion will always start it at base so that you can upgrade it so it'll look like that. And honestly, after all the upgrades, you'll probably be looking at the price of a xB: $16,600 or so. So it's really not all that bad.
I'm guessing this car will probably premier at around $13-14.

Wow, the 5 axis kit is really glamorous on the iQ.
The base model doesn't do the car justice.
EDIT:
Even though I'm not sure what the base model (black) pictured is, and I'm too lazy to see what kind of car it is. It's a small Toyota, but it's most likely a Euro or Japanese car we don't have here.
