Scion to Launch Innovative SCRATCHER Ad Campaign
Scion is launching an innovative advertising campaign that will begin this September.
The campaign is called “Scratcher,” and it challenges the passerby to find two of the same customized-style cars in a lottery ticket style scratch off format. This being Scion, no two cars are alike. Building Wallscapes, Wild Postings and Max Rack Postcards and magazines will all be used as the campaign’s mediums.
For the Wallscapes, it will start with one car revealed and then every two days a new car will be revealed, to keep the regular commuters engaged. Additionally, Max Racks will have a postcard for each model, where the customer can actually ‘scratch-off’ all of the cars. The Wild Postings will allow passersby to scratch off as well, just on a larger format.

What's not exciting about those? And btw, no other car company has ever released 4 completely brand new cars in the same year in the same market. It's a nearly impossible feat. One that in retrospect probably shouldn't have been done in light of the company's recent recall troubles. I argue that Toyota is a company that learns from it's mistakes.

So Scion is coming out with some new cars? Like the one they show in there pamplet. I would like to see the Xb with 2.4L at least. My mom and brother both really like my Xb and I told them both to wait till the new line comes out. When do you think they will be releasing them?

What's exciting about the new Camry? The V6 is a nice engine, but still a boring family sedan.
The new Yaris? It weighs 400 lb's more than the old one! Plus, it looks mostly like crap?
Wow, the FJ crusier..just what the world needs, ANOTHER SUV.
A RAV4 with 270 hp..ANOTHER SUV.
Where are the sports cars like the MR2 and Supra? Where are the small, lightweight, nimble cars (at least we get the xA and xB) like the Starlet Glanza, and Vitz? The only sports coupe we get is the tC, which is not too shabby.
Where are the 4AG's, the 3SGE's, the 2JZ engines enthusiasts used to love? Hell, even the 4EFTE was a sweet little motor.
As long as Toyota continues down the path they are on, I won't plan on buying a Toyota again anytime soon.
