Hey if anyone has a link to Scion Corp, feed them this thread. They need to see what they have done, not just sitting back thinking smugly about their decision to ruin yet another xA.

Even though the car is not for me I do agree. To me an RS should be really out of the ordinary. The envy green and hot lava colors on the XB were awesome. They should do something like that on the xa.

I just wrote Scion a LOOOONNNNGGGG letter and also put a link to this thread, i told them that they should seriously consider what theyre doing, because with a color like that, its going to be mostly grandma and grandpa buying it, and that strays away from the whole point of scion.

I doubt they'll listen to just one unhappy consumer's email. They'd need to get flooded with emails to even consider doing anything.

well, that's why I was hoping someone with a connection to Scion would step in, they have more pull than one individual or even a group. But I guess we really can't start complaining until the thing gets released can we?

Even if someone with more influtintial status with scion steped in it wouldn't matter. The reason behind maken that statement is because, they have been trying to get these two colors (rs4 xb) and this xa for three years now into the states and they have spent alot of time and money and they are severly happy with these colors. Firesquare unless someone paints their xa hotlava ... and we all know the paint code lol, you proably wont be seing one so you will have to deal with this even though its not hot lava this is by far one of my favroit xas

I highly doubt that Scion would care if 40 people who probably wouldn't buy the car no matter what the color is (without even knowing what the other special features are) do not like the color. Simply put, if you don't like it, don't buy it. That is just means 40 new customers will buy the car. Remember that this is a limited release, and it can almost being guarenteed that this car will sell just as well as the other RS cars, so even if people on here don't agree with the color, plenty others will. Just my two cents.

that's not the point... the release series is supposed to be something different, something special.. the xB colors were all not seen on any other models and were very in your face. The tC colors were as well. But then the xA got jacked, the RS1.0 was great, the RS2.0 was bland and now the RS3.0 is going to be a stock color from another car and another shade of blue?!? (light blue at that) It's just rediculous. I feel let down by Scion, they geared the car twords my generation and even advertised it as so in the commercials (the one with Paul and Mike catches my mind) and then they turn a full 180 and turn the car into just another run of the mill grocery gettin hatchback. Shame shame shame.... As I stated "if the xB rs3.0 had this color there would have been a riot or something."

With that I'll leave you with a more appropriate colored xA to copliment the one above, Orange rules.

I think you did a great job. The biggest prob i have, is that I like the color.




Just not as an RS.

Well unfortunately I forsee a bleak immediate future. The xA as it is will cease to be made very soon and two new Scion models will be coming out. I fear the xA will be totally left in the dust for some time. In the farther future we may gain some respect as a 1st gen Scion and a rare one at that. I'm still fighting, futilely at that, for a lost cause that I had been since I've joined these forums (in 2004 I believe). The xA gets no respect, even the show worthy ones are looked over and seldom do you see a trophy class for an xA. I guess the one thing that holds true and is the best thing for us no matter what anyone else does or says: We love our xA's and are proud of it.
