That's always one of the hazards of releasing 'pre-release' private data - the folks in actual control of it can make any number of changes to it right up to the time it is 'officially' publicly released.

Now if we can just convince Corporate that Toasted Penny would play better to the US toaster community than Torched Penny would, you might get to see it change again...

Cool color, but I've seen it on Camero's, Firebird's, Escalade's and new Beetle's just to name a few...I think it's too played out. I still like it tho.

 

Not to mention at least one flavor of Mustang Cobra had the purplish color change paint. Although the last Cobra to have it also had seats and steering wheels made with a material that matched the paint and color shifted as well. Got to see one in person and that was cool as hell.. still not sure how that works with a vinyl like material.

 

Yeah that green-blurple was totally played out in the 90's, and didn't age well.

I am sure if anyone knew this, the info would be all over.. but does anyone know when they are going to announce specs, release date etc? Being pretty new around here I don't know, but does Scion seem to schedule announcements for a certain time of year? Looking to buy an xB very soon, I would love to know some more solid info as I could easily wait for this to release if it had some cool options and wasn't coming out a year from now.

 

im pretty much hatign this color, i hated the hot lava too, i love the envy green and the yellow because of the non metallic finish, i kinda like the simple color schemes, the uber bling color shift metallic flake bothers me. would not be itnerested in this car one bit. but you can try n buy one from me or my dad. haha
