It's funny; when I was working for Scale Auto magazine, we recieved a model kit from Aoshima of the Maziora Altezza (I believe). I kept trying to find an MSRP online by looking for "Mazora," but I couldn't find anything. I finally figured out the dragon was the "i."

Hmmm''
OOOO, La Laaaa.'''''
That is really beautiful on the show-floor. Especially with the beige interior. But I really wonder what that thing will look like outside in natural light?.
And just in case of accidents/fender benders,,,,how hard is it gonna be to match that paint just right since it has that color-changing characteristic?......Could be no big deal I guess if it just goes on like any other paint.....but I don't know much about those custom paints.
just a thought.

I think it's gonna look a LOT different in person. It looks to me like the picture is an artists conception trying to show off all the different possible colors at one time. I don't think you'd ever see that many colors in real life. It'll all depend on what light source is hitting where and what angle you're viewing it from.
I'm also naive enough to believe that no major car company would market a color that couldn't be matched up to "some" degree in the event of a repair. There's a LOT of research goes into marketing decisions.
Just my .02

here's some pictures of the Japanese Mazora colored bB
and then a Maziora Color Tuned N-1 Altezza
and a color tuned bus! woo!
same color as the bB... but on a skyline..
honestly.. pictures of colorshifting cars don't do justice until you see them in person...

the Maziora Alps collection looks like it would be that Diamond White Pearl color on the Sienna/Solara... i wonder if Glacier Frost Mica (IS250/350 and GS430) is made by Maziora? that paint colorshifts from silver to light blue...

I wonder if the car is painted at the plant or is it painted at a outside facility. If the paint has to be put on in a different way than "regular" paint, can they do that at the factory? In the past certain special edition models from other companies would have aftermarket people do the work.

How did you miss the boat. Dealerships still have them in stock. I know one of the local dealers in Fresno has one on the lot with some disgusting chrome rims on it. It's been there for at least a couple of weeks.

Something I found enroute to looking up other things...
Maybe you would like this paint (clicky) instead.

Looks like the stock JDM version had an upgraded exhaust---still no word yet on other options.
