& how much would the gold one cost to make? 20+k?
that's stepping into gti terriotry. or a mini S, or a civic S, or a lot of other "cool/cute" cars aimed at it's targeted group. I like my xB for it's looks & functionality, but at some point cost become a factor. I would not be owning one if it had been 17k+.

us xB owners know about use of space better than most though. when I tell people it sits on an eco frame and that even the chevy aveo hatchback weighs more, it shocks most.

Couple things I've noticed...
* Die-hard box lovers are bummed (I was too for a bit)
* Then pics of the 5 Axis xb2 come out and everyone likes it now
* TC owners who wouldn't even be seen in a box want to trade in for a new xB
* The extra foot of length is kinda lame, but I'll take the 55 extra hp anyday. Esp if it weighs less than a TC.
* The stock version sucks, plain and simple. It is BEGGING for 19's and a drop.
I'm reserving personal judgment until I can sit in one of these and drive it around. Till then, 5 Axis has officially redeemed the xb2.

I figured that on trade I could get 3-4 thousand over what I owe for the wifes xB. I am thinking about it. I am keeping my xB since we drive hers more. The airbags would be a nice thing to have seeing we have a 16 month old (who favorite toy is my TRD hat, he wears it around the house). I am going to have to check it out.

Man talk about going from ugly duckling to prom princess!! Slap on some new shoes, some make-up, a skirt and a nose job and this thing is hot. I thought, "Damn this is ugly" yesterday but with the kit it's like a different vehicle. I showed my girlfriend the new xB yesterday because she's thinking about getting a new car and she thought it was the ugliest thing on wheels, this might just change her mind.
