I addition to production in Toronto, Matrix and Vibe both roll off the Fremont Nummi Plant (GM Toyota Joint Operation) line in Northern California. javascript:emoticon('')

That's cool! I race my RC car behind the NUMMI plant! But from what I heard, it is a Toyota TRUCK plant and used to be a GM plant. Who knows!

If it really makes a difference, the Vibe comes with roof rails and the Matrix does not....AND the pics posted on the first page...the one with the alloy wheels has NO roof rack and the other with the steelies DOES have a roof rack....

So maybe it IS both a Matrix AND a Vibe spy shot!

But the roof rack looks fake (to me at least).

I hope they fix the way the rear of the roof top slopes down. It will also give the rear passangers some needed extra headroom.

looks very much like a nissan vehicle
the grille seems very similar to that of a altima/quest
and so do the door handles

Default Pontiac Matrix/ Toyota Vibe

I don't know if anyone noticed, but the top picture has 2 cars in it. The second car you can barely see. The top few pictures of of the same car, but the last 2 pics are of that second car in the back of the first pic. These two cars are not the same! The first car does have a grill similar to the current Matrix, and I think that very well could be the next Matrix, but the second vehicle has some very Pontiac characteristics. The grill is different, and some other features are also.

Fk it...whatever it is, I am going to develop a body kit after this "disguise"
Then I will add some 34" wheels, Altezza tails, a fart can, a Type R V-TEC badge, and half an underbody neon kit. Interiorwise, everything plastic is getting painted red, I'll get some sweet Racing-R seatcovers with dragons on them, a flamed steeringwheel cover, and the chrome skull shift **** with light up eyes.
Do they still make those sweet Road Thunder speaker boxes? I hope WalMart is still open...

Default Any news?

Anyone know when the new Matrix will be out? I've heard anywhere from late summer 07 to March of 08.

08 is a carry over of 07, so I wouldn't expect a new model until at least part way through 08.

We already have 08's at the dealership.

The Blade is what is replacing the Matrix, correct? From the shots of the Blade, I know what we're trading our tC in for...

Yeah, but it's not going to look like that. It's getting unique-for-USA sheetmetal right? From the looks of the spy photos (at least from what I can tell) it's going to look more like the old Matrix than the Blade.
