Tanner Foust to drift 2009 Scion tC
#61
Gushi likes his ride. What byou talking about. It was the first season in the car. It had some problems. It isnt always gonna work when you have to fab somethign together like that the first time out. He was runnign pretty good at Evergreen speedway but had clutch issues. But Hubinette drifted the Charger already a few seasons ago. It sucked so he went back to the Viper. I dont think he is going back to the crappy charger if they want him to win anything. Thte charger is terrible for drifting. So the charger has been around your a lil late on that.

You guys are missing some key points...
Foust probably good a nice cash offer to take on such a project. As stated, he has a pretty proven career in the drifting championships, and is currently running in the top for the current season.
Though he's has a few dumb mistakes this year with some runs, he's a more consistent driver than Gushi, and MOST of the other drivers. Only Millen, Hubinette, and Yoshihara can give Foust consistent challenges on all tracks.
I think it's Scion's best chance at making a reputable appearance in the Formula D. Though I think the converted tC is a horrible platform for drifting (as seen in the way Gushi's car drives), I think Foust is one of the few guys that can make it work.
Is Papidakis going to run Fousts team in the Scion as well or is Stephen staying with the Z team?
Shoudl be an interesting season. I personally like Yoshihara and Millen the best. Those guys have great character and make a great team!
