Titan tC Wins 4th NHRASC Victory In A Row!
TORRANCE, Calif., June 13, 2006 - - Scion Racing completed a successful weekend with a victory at the 2006 Mountain Madness NHRA Sport Compact Nationals at Bandimere Speedway in Morrison, Colo., June 10 and 11.
The Titan Motorsports Scion tC driven by Brad Personett was top qualifier on Saturday in the Pro RWD category. Personett piloted his tC to the number one qualifying position with a track record pass of 6.684 e.t. at 213.43 mph.
As the number one qualifier, Personett earned a bye-run into the event finals where his tC faced off against Matt Scranton in his 2006 Toyota Solara. Personett advanced his Titan Motorsports Scion tC to another winner’s circle with a 6.718 e.t. at 213.03 mph.
Personett’s win marked the Titan Motorsports tC’s fourth NHRA Sport Compact victory in a row and fifth victory in six NHRA Sport Compact events this season.
“We're pleased with our progress,” said team owner Nero Deliwala. “Since last year it’s come full circle -- our second win of 2005 came at Denver where our strong charge to winning the championship started. We plan to continue the momentum we started in 2005 and go after a repeat championship in 2006.”
The Titan Motorsports tC will head back to the track at the NHRA Las Vegas Sport Compact Nationals on July 14 and 15, 2006. Personett will be joined by other Scion Racing drivers Leslie Durst-Armendariz in the Horizon Motorsports All Motor tC and Christian Rado in the debut of the new WORLD Electronics Pro FWD tC.

213mph isn't the best trap speed for this tC either..
It's trapped 218mph before. I think it has more in it too.
I can't even imagine what it would be like to drive that car down the track.

Its a drag car . You think the solara's, Celicas etc are running solara, celica and the other respective engines? Of course not.
But I understand what you guys are saying. I feel the same way about people who brag about their 13 second civics.. when they aren't even civics anymore.
