I remember seeing it around, even on this thread I thought b/c I checked a long time ago when the thread was first put up. Unforuntaly, I dont see it anymore, but darren offered a phone number to call to find out, so call tomorrow to give you piece of mind (also, look on your door near where the tire psi numbers are to see exactly when your car was made)

I went to www.scion.com and went in the live chat and gave the rep. my VIN#. I know Claudia had trouble with this, but it worked for me. Give it a try, if not, call Scion.

You don't have to wait for the letter. I still haven't gotten the letter, but I walked right into the service department at my dealership. Just give them your VIN, and they should be able to pull it up on their computer and see what recalls it's affected by.

I just got back from the dealer where I had this recall done. It was very fast, they had me in and out very quickly and they did their thing.
Just a suggestion: It didn't occur to me until it was too late that they not only disconnect the battery, but reset the ECU, so I lost my trip1/2 numbers which suck b/c I use trip2 to tell me how many miles since my last tire rotation. But anyway, I had to redo all the radio stations, set the clock, etc, so just be aware of that! Good luck!
P.S. They didn't have the parts on hand, they had to order them (just a heads up so you all dont go expecting them to have it)
