I gotta tell you this dude, When doing my retro a year ago i went back and forth on what Projector to use..

It was a tie between The TSX and the Valeo's

I decided to go with the valeo's Because they had this VERY almost blacklight purple cutoff to them, and when coming down the road they really grab your attention..

NOW a year later i wish i went with the TSX instead. i pulled up to TSX yesterday, and the beam patern is TWICE as wide as the Valeo's..

THE BEST out there if you ask me... (TSX)

Very cool! LEts hope you do everything right, unlike i did.

I had so many problems with my ballasts getting wet i almost switched them back to stock headlights

MAKE SURE! You buy the Covers That hidplanet.com offer on the site, and make sure you silicon the cracks in the covers and all the wires that come out..

I learned my lesson, replaced 2 sets of ballasts, 600 bucks later..

I did it right.

^^^ I disagree. I think S2000 is the best projector out there... TSX is second. I'm using TSX myself. http://conceptinmotion.numutant.net/...opic.php?t=308 I had talked to Litto Devil on HIDPlanet a long time ago. He ranks the top 3 projects as follows... Honda S2000... Acura TSX.... Audi A4 (Valeo). i'm not sure whether it was him who told me it was the chrome quality of the reflectors of the S2000 which made it superior.

yea i already fried one set of Matsu____a ballast ($175). I hooked them up wrong on accident. As for the cover it will only fit the Hella Gen3 Ballast. Not mine. So im gonna have to figure something out and use some heat wrap for the wires or something???

got some updated cutoff pics! I was messing around with the "washer mod" (the HIDPlanet.com dudes know what im talking about) and i got some pretty good cutoffs again. I "HAD" 3 washers on bottom and 1 on top, well i removed the one on top cause it produced a better cutoff on far shots....

about 25ft...(pretty sharp if you ask me!)

Sweet a$$ colur!!!

:yummy:

i finally found a set of headlamps and ordered a relay harness so i will probally start sometime either next week or the following. Ill be starting another thread on my retro and my steps on how im doing. Let me know what yall think of the cutoffs?
