So at Scion Exposed in Jacksonville, scion pro came by and put this on my car. I was a huge skeptic at first about this product. I even said it looks too much like a custom computer case. In person, the product doesn't look that bad. It was actually pretty unique. It didn't stand out as much as all these pictures that are photoshopped. Eujin did a great photoshop job on them, but they make the product stand out too much.

If you have a darker color tC with tinted windows, this isn't overly flashy IMO. I even suggested to him to make one for the rear overhead (non moving) moon roof.

This is definitely a product that must be seen in person. I'm eating my words from an earlier post. Good Job Steve.

I like the idea but the style of this one is too over the top (unless you use it with a crazy tribal paintjob). I like that it's three dimensional and not just a flat piece.

Watching for different designs.

i felt negative about this at first just like most people here
but after seeing it finished and on a real car its not as bad as i expected
maybe put out a less radical and more subtle design....

Different designs will make or break this I think. Even if it's not a hot seller at all, something a little more subtle will definitely help.

I'm not feeling that design at all...

Plus any design is going to look incredibly different on the lighter colors since it'll contrast with the window more.

Thank you for the post Eugene. I have to make a few things very clear here...first this is my design and in no way shape or form has anything to do with Five Axis or its product line coming out shortly. They simply assisted in making this proto-type and will not participate in the manufacturing of the product. Second is that this is a design experiment to gauge the taste of the community which obviously prefers a more conservative approach. It seems to me that it is more the design than the concept that is not liked. Third this will be legal and does not obstruct view as it covers primarily the glue and teflon areas that already exist. It also does not whistle as we have already road tested it.This is an extreme design to catch your attention and get a reaction so I am pleased with the responses good bad or ugly. Now that this product concept is out there I am putting up a challenge. I will give away a stainless steel hood panel to the winning Glass Skinz design who gets the most votes in a poll. If you do not want stainless I will give something from my site of equal value. The winning design will require a release and may or may not make it into production. You may not use the Scion logo in your design as it is a registered trademark. Your submission can be a drawing or photoshop and will be sent to www.steve@scionpro.com. When I have reached 10 submissions I will open a new topic with a poll for everyone to vote. Sound fair? ScionPro appears to make and sell show/styling pieces....and that is what he has created. Nothing on his xB is functional performance wise.... but it definitely is an awesome show ca,r

Im not digin it!.....Sorry but to me it resembles something that my landscaper would put on his Chevy Truck along with the front visor, rear spoiler, bed spoiler, and the huge 15x10" wheels with a mural of an Aztec Warrior holding a naked woman painted on the tailgate

You'll find that a lot of people agree with tCpete. But hey, it's just a prototype, right?

One can only pray that the finished product won't look like that...
