bi-xenon projector = low and high beams can be used in this projector. the cutoff shield will flip down when the high beam function is needed and as seen in pic#6, i turned them on.

xenon (single xenon) projector = only low beam can be used. the shield does not have a motor and cannot move.

this should help a little more.....

you gotta pay to play, like i said ive been saving and slowly buying parts at different times. it didnt seem like alot untill i added things up because i bought everything seperate. this is also includding labor and shipping both ways.

my clear lense tsx's are definitely more intense and a little wider(not by much)

but yout sharpness and color blow mine aout of the water!

j0hnBlaze : i did my retrofit on my own and in parts came out to about 200 dollars (once i sold my second set of headlights) and ballasts and bulbs that i already had, so this can be a fairly inexpensive mod if you put alot of elbow grease! but if someone asked me to do it for them, i would charge a hell of alot since its sooo time consuming

i meant intensity in the overall width, the tfx seen to focus all intesity towards the center!

i would be hard to judge by pics, since its always a different story in person!

(i might be doing a retro on my pops 02 tacoma with murano bi-xenons with retrofitsource clear lenses! cant wait)

Yanki, lights look LEGIT! I've always been a fan of proper HID retrofits. I personally wanted to do it, but I couldn't justify 1k in parts. =( I went the cheapass pnp method which isn't very great compared to my sisters tsx or dad's g35.

parts alone add to $660. Not includding labor. ive decided to keep my stock lights just incase i need them for anything or decide to sell the tC.

no i wasnt talking about ur particular retrofit, im talking about those people saying that a retrofit HAS TO BE a 1k mod, it can be done for a whole lot less!

oh yea, no doubt. plenty of people have home depot shrouds and use their own headlights. it can be done for alot less.

yea, Lightwerkz (Ceasar) just posted these he finished. I like the angel eyes sooooo much on these. I decided not to get them because i didnt want too many wires back there. I had a hard enough time finding a spot for my ballast and didnt want more wires but these look hawt minus the painted shroud and sidemarker. I like to keep it stock with the amber and shroud chrome....
