Default 06 to 08 headlight swap HID question

Ok maybe a stupid question, but I'm stuck and might as well ask. Maybe some others will benefit too.

I've got an hid kit from mobile hid with the relay harness and I've got the H11 bulbs to fit the 08 projectors.

I can see how to install the HID's easily without the relay harness, but I don't want to do that.

I want to keep the relay harness to safeguard the factory wiring harness. Now I just can't seem to figure out to make all the connections while retaining the harness from mobile hid.

Anyone care to help me out here? I dunno , just want to finish this install and be done!

I believe you need to cut off the H11 male plugs on your wiring harness and replace them with 9006 male plugs.
Or if there is a H11 female to 9006 male adapter them you won't have to cut anything.

If there are other plugs that don't fit I'm sure they make adapters for most of them.

I have the 9006 hid kit and relay harness already from my 06 setup and I have now have the H11 bulbs.

the 9006 bulbs only have two connections extending from them. The h11 bulbs have the line to the ballast, the two plastic plugs (just like the 9006), and also two more metal prong ends.

I could hook them up right now without the harness, but I want to keep the harness for safety, especially since its a 50Watt kit.

Hope that clarifies? Where am I going wrong here LOL!?

well it should be connected like this:

H11 HID bulbs -> HID Ballast (w/ 9006 connections) -> HID Harness (9006) -> Factory Harness (9006)

alright got it sorted out, like i thought..I just wasnt thinkin haha. THanks equinox, followed what you said and all is good. For others who havent used h11 bulbs yet for the headlight swap, you only have to connect the 9006 style connectors LOL!! No wonder I couldnt connect everything duh
