cops in Atlantic City don't care. They only care if your car have dead body or gun. My coworker got away with weed in plain sight.
I got tinted window ticket on the Parkway. Near mark 63. my car is 20 back and 35 front.
In bright day light, it is hard to tell the tint. I wish i gotten darker tint

yeahh since u have a black car with the 35 its really gonna look like 25 ish i have 10 on my backs and used to have 30 on my front.. from different angles you couldnt tell a difference.. from other angles it didnt look like i had tint on and from another angles it looked like 35. Now my brother has a white civic with 35 wrapped and hes NEVER had a problem with it so it all depends on how much the cop wants to be a dick lol

I got a ticket for 5% rear and 20% front during a random inspection thing. Didn't bother with tint at all for my 08.

It just draws unwanted attention to you. It just gives cops a reason to pull you over.

I got 5% tint rear 20% side and 35% front none on windshield. And the cops usually dont bother me. When i get pulled over i just lower my windows. If they say i have tint, then they just give me a verbal warning. But since you are getting 35% all around you are fine. They wont bother you at all. (Unless you get pulled over and the cop just wants to pile on tickets). But the likely hood of them pulling you over solely for your tints is rather slim.

I live relatively close to you and I have 35% on the sides, with 20% on the rear.

I go to school in South Jersey right next to Atlantic City and I have never had a problem, whereas up in North Jersey in Somerset/Morris county, the cops have issues with it like 30% of the time

Im in central jersey and i have 20% all around and never had a problem. I have to admit though, when you pull up next to a cop at a light and ur looking over at him and he looks back at you, you get a weird feeling inside when you know hes looking right at you and he cannot see you. lmao

Taken from TintCenter.com

HOW DARK CAN WINDOW TINT BE IN NEW JERSEY?

Darkness of tint is measured by Visible Light Transmission percentage (VLT%). In New Jersey, this percentage refers to percentage of visible light allowed in through the combination of film and the window.
Windshield No tint is allowed on the windshield.
Front Side Windows No tint can be applied legally to this window.
Back Side Windows Any darkness can be used.
Rear Window Any darkness can be used.

HOW REFLECTIVE CAN THE TINT BE IN NEW JERSEY?

Similar to sunglass lenses, some tinting film contain metallic elements that help in reflecting incoming light and reducing the glare and heat generated by visible light.
Front Side Windows No metallic or mirrored appearance.
Back Side Windows No metallic or mirrored appearance.

OTHER NEW JERSEY RULES AND REGULATIONS
Restricted Colors No colors of tint are explicitly banned.
Side Mirrors Dual side mirrors are required if back window is tinted.
Certificate Requirements Manufacturers of film do NOT need to certify the film they sell in the state.
Sticker Requirements No sticker to identify legal tinting is required.
Medical Exemption State allows medical exemptions for special tint. For more details about the specific terms of the exemption, consult your state law.

I have been pulled over 5 times for my tint so far! 2 in the last week! But 2 weeks ago I got a Rx from my doctor. They are getting pretty tough on tinted windows.

you must not have very good eyes then becuase I can clearly see through 20%.....try having a cop roll up next to you with 5% knowing that he REALLY can't see in. I try to look out for cops though soo i can roll the windows down quick.
