Default To all the Seion Hood Owners. Question

we just got through puttin on our Seibon OEM hood

and we realized that the stock bolts that came off the original hood did not fit, well it did but got stuck halfway too big.

but mi main question is to all the seibon hood owners. if yours had the pre-drilled for the windshield nozzles

how did u manage to fit it in the tiny hole?

The last two Sibon hoods I installed we had to drill out the under side of the hood where the piece goes to a 3/4" hole other wise the part crimps and no fluid will flow, just take your time and you will be fine,it is fiberglass on the under side so it is soft and very easy to drill through,we used about 1/4 of a roll of electrical tape to make a drill stop by wrapping it around the bit at like 3/8" up the shaft of the bit and that way there was no way to over drill too deep......caution is always better than hole through the hood....lol

yep, the bolts for the hood are not the same as the stock hood, i dont know which size, but a couple trips to home depot will do the trick

as for the washer nozzles, i had to trim the tabs on the nozzles themselves to get them to pop in

The washer nozzle holes are too small so I just went to a Honda dealership and ordered a pair of civic washer nozzles. They fit like a charm but after connecting the hose you need a pin to adjust the spray dirction or else it'll spray the car next to you. (unless you want to wash the other car in the next lane) lol

i actually filed out the holes bigger and filled down the nozzles, i kinda wish i just filed the nozzles. but yeh they fit now. i talked to seibon and they said that they don't have the exact dimensions for all washer nozzles so the estimate and round down. better to have a small hole you can make bigger than a big hole you can't do anything about. this is my hood.

about the washer nozzle holes. Mine where way too small so I took a dremel tool to it slow and steady til it fit.. same goes for the stand that holds the hood up as well.. always with aftermarket CF parts there will always be an issue..

Never hooked up the washer nozzles. Washed the car often enough not to need them, and when I drove in the rain...............lol. The bolts are different sizes. Mine came with the bolts and we just used them with the CF hood.
