Just wondering. I always think the tC as the Celica and somebody would have done so by now.

I was going to get a 99 celi and bought the badges in advance...
but saw the pearl white TC.
Didn't convert the scion badge to a toyota, don't think i'm going to either.

But if your talking about the celica badge w/ the lettering... nah, not a fan.

 

Yeah what badge, i've seen the pink GT-S badge on the back of a tC which looked really ___ BTW!!

^I think he's talking about converting the badges to toyota symbol and putting the CELICA badge (spelled out) on the car, to turn it into a "celica".

I dunno, I mean I definitely don't have a problem with rebadging as a toyota, but to think of badging as a celi is a little too much I think. And yea to rebadge you would have to take off that back celi piece cut it and bondo it into the tc back because celicas never had badges, they had that indented piece on the hatch, unless maybe the older gens had badges...

Actually the 4th gens had badges...

It would look cool, but not my style. It's kinda like rebadging as a lexus but not as bad. I know the tc is the new gen. celica, but to badge it as one would take some ***** IMO. I'm still think of what to rebadge my scion and although I was going to go with toyota badges I think I might just go with a rebadge.

The only cool badge coversion is putting an X in front of the tC on the back of the car.

WOW....celica badges on a tc now....i know scion was aimed at the younger market...but damnnn wutt a bunch of lil ricers.....yesss it was suppose to replace the celica....but no...its not a new celica....stoppp the foolishness!!! and yess its a japanese car..but u cannot buy a tc in japan...its only made for the states!..u can give it a jdm look but it wont be a japanese conversion cause theres nothing in japan u can covert it to!!

But seriously, you ask for people's opinions and most of us are just being honest. Hey, it's your car so do what you want! Just don't be surprised if you see a pic of your car on a rice forum!

And make sure to give it a VTEC sticker to complete the package. But yeah, do what you want if it makes you happy.
