i'll need to take pictures of the re-wiring (once i see my buddy)
as i'm sure it'd be easier than trying to explain to a non-electrical guy what to do.

good job on searching that.. good thing except that it requires you to run the wire thru the firewall which I did not want to do and did this modification just for that.
(FYI, this will be connected to your parking lights (they will only turn on if the parking lights are turned on), and will also not turn off when you turn on your highbeams)
let's take a look at the main wiring harness first..
what you do is cut the relay off the main harness (cut the blue and black wire leaving some extra on the relay itself... you'll need the slack)
also with that stupid extra ground wire with the connector on the relay... cut that completely off.. you'll have enough black wire on the relay from what you cut off already.
done?
reconnect the black wire that you cut off with the connector onto the main harness, use a butt connector or something.. this'll be the ground for the fogs themselves. connect it to this.. sure..
for the remaining blue wire on the fog harness, tap that into the stock optional fog connector located inside your driver fender.
tap the blue wire into that pink wire. install fogs, connect to fogs.. and you're done with the front.
now you still have the relay and the switch in your hands.. we go inside into the car.
inside there will be the optional oem fog connector... from there, there are 6 wires in the connector.. we will be only using 4 of them and tapping the relay into it as such.
now at this point you still have the inline fuse connected to the relay.. cut that off and leave the remaining red wire hanging out. the oem fog circuit is already fused, you don't need the one they gave you.
now cut the white wire from the relay short so you're able to just connect it directly to the switch's white wire. no need for that extraneously long extra wire...
so let's see what we have now..
two red wires (one from the switch, one from the relay),
the white wire from the relay should be connected to the switch's white wire...
you have a black wire from the relay hanging out, and a black wire from the switch
and then the blue wire from the relay hanging out.
connect the two black wires and tap them into the blue wire in pin 6 of the connector.
the red wire for the switch goes to pin 7.. light green wire.
red wire on relay, taps into orange wire in pin 1
and finally the blue wire, taps into the pink wire in pin 2
if you can't follow that.. then you need to find someone to install it for you..

good
this will save you the trouble of wiring stuff to your battery (making things ALOT neater under the hood)
along with not needing to wire anything thru the firewall (ALOT neater and A TON OF A LOT easier)

yeah.. their switch does suck..
anyway.. if you want to have them turn on with the parking lights and completely bypassing using a switch..
wire the relay's white wire to the light green one (where the switch's red wire would've gone)
but other than that. if you want to use your own switch, then wire accordingly using the guide above.
relay's white wire to the switch, and then another wire from the switch to the light green one

Thread revival! I wanted to thank SquallLHeart for his info, as it saved me some time over the weekend! The switch/relay are different color wires now, but knowing which fog light wires to tap helped me out

I just installed fogs per SquallLHeart's directions. My harness had two blue w/red stripe wires instead of one blue wire. I spliced the two blue w/ red stripe wires and attached them to the pink wire on both sides of the firewall. It worked as advertised. Thanks.
