I got an estimate from my local dealer for a new bumper cover painted, and it's going to be around $725. I have a friend who used to do bumper repair who said he can fix mine. I went to the paint and body supply to price the needed supplies, and I was close to $200 before paint. I got an eBay bumper and it looks fine but it didn't come painted i didnt want it just incase it wasnt good . so i found a cheap body shop that did it for 200 and I got the bumper for 100. It was Still cheaper then the dealer and it looks real good.

Best to get it painted local, this will ensure the paint matches your car if the paint needs minor mix color fix and no headache should u need to ship bumper back due to any paint problems present or future.

I have used the ebay painted bumper but not on a scion. It was on a 00 maxima. The guy actually asked me where the car was located for most of it's life and he actually faded the paint based off of some of his calculations. It matched PERFECT. I can't guarantee yours will but mine did. On the other hand I took my wifes car to get it painted at the body shop and it is the worst matching paint ever

 

I got one off E bay about a year ago from a guy in NC it worked well and was oem it was shipped by Bus
