Default Anzo headlights, couple of questions

Do i have to bake the headlight and all that to be able to mod the cuttoff on the projector? or is there a way to just remove the projector through the back of the headlight?

Also, the stock bulbs in it suck.. Can i use my old headlights in a replacement for them.. they are not HIDs, they are silverstar ultras which burn at 4300k and to me are fine for now. but will those fit in?

1. no, you'll have to bake them open to remove the projector.

2. depends on what bulbs to new headlights take? i doubt its the same if if was stock and the Silverstar Ultras are not 4300k. More like 3800-4000k.

btw, you should try to save money and at least get the 08 headlights instead of those anzo's. their ugly and made cheap. the projector sucks and fog up easy.

It will be a big deal when the leds/halos start going out..... the headlights fog...... and when you keep getting highbeamed by oncoming traffic because your terrible cut-off is blinding them.

Here is some links for you:

In all honesty even if you mod it the lights will suck. Save yourself some money and time by retrofitting. Lightwerkz does some amazing work with retros and if you supply them with the parts you will just pay labor to them. I got the majority of my parts from ebay and the cutoff and color shift is amazing. I've also tried to do the retro on my own and it was a big mistake.

I have anzo's ... put eyelids on them and DO NOT put HID's in them. IMO they look better than the 08's during the day ... at night, not so much, lol.

^ lol

yeah the anzo's take different bulbs. IMO it wouldn't be worth it to spend the cash on HIDs for them.

Honestly I would just retrofit your stocks if I were you.
