APR wind Splitter install
Has anyone installed the APR wind splitter with the lip kit on. I am thinking of buying it, but I don't know if I would have to remove the front lip.

I installed them with a pair of extra hands.
When I recieved the box it was jus the splitter, screws, washers and tie rods. I looked at a picture of an EVO to reference. But basically I unclipped the front bumper and drilled about 10 holes for the screws. I then drilled two more holes near the top of the bottom grill for the two tie rods. I angled them a bit for that slight aggressive look. If you get them, make sure to add washers to the tie rods. Put one on the top end, where it connects to the bottom grill and also on the bottom underneath the splitter.
All and all I love this lip. It freakin sux when u bottom out though. I cringe everytime I do. I have the S-Techs, so the drop is pretty DAMN low.

I'm not sure it would be the greatest idea to run without them...
Imagine the pressure being exurted on that splitter at 90+ MPH...
The last thing I would want is that thing forced lose and crunching underneath my car.... OUCH....
Unless you can find a SECURE mounting point through the bottom of the bumper near the front of the splitter, I'd definately run the rods.

I actually think the tie rods look great! if they weren't they're you wouldn't even notice there was a lip on there. The APR lip is soo suttle that the rods are what make it stand out. alot of people think its a whole new bumper because the rods are now attached to my bumper. haha its funny.
