Nice! You're gonna love them! I love my vrds....let me know if need help installing them. I did mine in 30 mins. w/o taking the front bumper off.
I assume you just took off the lower splash pan/shield attached to the bumper? thats how I was going to do it... I still have to get yellow bulbs before I put them in and I need to review the method of making them turn on with the parking lights instead of the headlights...

the suspense is killing me. I seriously hope they come in tomorrow.... USPS tracking number is garbage. it's the same message day after day until they get delivered, and with the layoffs in the postal service we've been getting mail at odd times...
Nah dude I didn't the splashguards off. Only the passenger side a little. Hahaha I bet, mine took two weeks!.....I know how to that parking light+fogs mod. Not so complicated. Takes like 5 mins. If not less.

fuuuuuuuuuudge.... 2 weeks? I can't wait that long haha! I may have to buy something else to install and have it overnighted to supress the mod bug.

did you do the mod off the light harness like the one in this thread

https://www.scionlife.com/forums/vie...=fog+light+mod

that seemed the easiest, you do put the grey pin in the same slot as the green pin correct?
yea weeks! i was going crazy lol
yup that's how you do it. its pretty simple. i havent done mine yet cuz my fogs dont match my parking lights.

does anyone have any bulbs installed that put off a purple light sorta like the 10000k or 12000k hids? Know of a brand I could get? I'm looking for ones that don't exceed the wattage for the harness. Something around 55w for consumption like the nokya hyper yellow stage 1's.

There is another piece of plastic that locks the pin into the plug. Use a very small screwdriver or small paperclip.

The pin lock actually holds the tabs that allow you to lift and pull the pin.

i found it. Popped them in last night and got it all wired up.

although with the fog wiring and headlight bypass relay the under dash fuse area looks like a spiders nest of wiring. I really need to clean it up...

soooo next step is yellow bulbs!

I installed mine yesterday. I think I might leave the stock bulbs in. I think it matches the stock headlights pretty well but when I get HIDs in the headlights I'll more than likely change them.

Does anyone know if the OEM fog light switch is compatible with the APT fogs?

it should be. if by some chance it isnt it already comes with a switch.

mine has a green car with headlights

and i was looking at the stock fog bulbs with my HIDs, and it looks similar to the lexus' front end so I probably wont replace them until one burns out.

i'll try and get some tonight. I don't have a digital camera (broken) so it's either cell pics or my moms nikon. Problem is with the nikon I don't have the card reader to get the pics off.

i'll see which turn out ok and post either tonight or tomorrow.

haha I'm at work now so on lunch i'll snap a few photos and try to upload them. The internet here is blocked so i'll have to try to find a way to put them on an open site to link to.

a question though: what did you guys do with the relay? doesn't it clip in somewhere out of the way? I just let mine hang.

the relay I mean...
