well i ordered a set of the apt fogs, paid the price and then shipping which was a lot for what i thought the size and weight of the package would be, but did it anyways. I did the usual wait and then it turned into a week, then two weeks, and i get the mail yesterday and there was a note from the POST OFFICE not fed-ex telling me to come and pick up my package. In MY OPINION this is not the way that they should have shipped my item, i paid shipping cost not 5 dollars for a box and a stamp. This was a rooster fish move.

its annoying when people ship like that, but also remember that people over charge for shipping on ebay to avoid fees/ attract people with a low item price

 

Did you read the guys feedback? The seller might have done the same thing to another person.

 

alot of things on there are done that way because of the damn fees that they charge. you can get stuff starting at 99 cents but have like a $30 shipping just to appeal to ya.

 

What I really hate is getting raped on the shipping and then going to my PO box to pick it up and getting a notice that there is POSTAGE DUE!

That crap has happened to me 3 or 4 times. I always send the seller an email about it too. It's usually like a quarter or something - which is even more stupid. Are their scales that bad?

the ones i got were the only ones that are ever on ebay 80$ and 20$ shipping. they are the apts that are ussually on there aptauto im assuming. i can find the seller tonight.

 

yeah u paid 100$ but would u rather pay 200 plus for the "VRD" ones? they need to make there money sum way and 100$ for APT fogs are good considering they are in fact VRD's

 

well change the cost to 95$ and 5$ shipping then i would not feel ripped

 

yeah thats alot better. But the lower the "actual" price then the more people will look at them. but it is true what u said though. they use to sell for 80$ bucks and then they raised it 20 dollars when they noticed how many units they were selling

i will look when i get home. my bad if im wrong i probably am, may be confusing it with another item location for my truck. no matter where they come from in my opinion it was wrong shipping wise.

i got my APT's in 2 days from Taiwan.
and like rosedale said if you dont like it then pay full price from VRD.
its not a ripoff at all, they lower the cost of the item and raise the shipping to pay a lower insertion fee on ebay.

i Got my Apt fogs from Apt.auto........took about 2 weeks........and it was from taiwan. Chinese all over the box, it took so long cause it was @ customs for about 8 days.

20 bucks 1/2 way around the world......right on

 

wow now that i haven't had happen about postage due. ya paying 100 when VRD's are like 150-200 aren't bad.

 

i agree on the cost of the fogs i am happy i did not pay 200 for vrd's .... having to go to pick them up from the post office. I just have never paid for shipping to my house and then receive a letter saying come pick it up at another location. Im sure i will like them anyways.

 

the thing is that then they owe more money to ebay becasue of the percentages, whereas when they charge more for shipping they pay less fees
