Well....after going through one bottom grill, and easily about 10-15 hours worth of trips to my uncle's body shop, learning and trial and error, my badgeless oem grill is finally complete!

***THANKS TO DANSU FOR ANSWERING ALL MY QUESTIONS AND STUFF!

so much stress and sweat has been put into this project. im just glad its finally done and i love the outcome.

Wow, how'd you get yours so flush?

What I did is just align the bottom of the lower OEM grill to the silver trim. It didnt turn out as great as yours, although I like mine.

Can you explain how you did yours?

Default Hey man

Hey dude nice work. But my question is. Why would you want to Debadge your Scion. When people say they want to debadge there scion it kinda makes me wonder if they even wanted there Scion. Its like there embarassed to own there car. Its like they dont want other people to know thats what they own. Honestly I think the Scion Badge gives the car a better look and Im proud to own my Scion. Not ____tin on ya bro just curious. Otherwise nice work.

It's just for a cleaner overall look. Well, that's what I think.

A lot of VIP car in Japan is debadge just for looks. I know a lots of people do it on honda, and toyota to give it the 'clean look'. There are some cars that you can debadge fully and some that you shouldn't, like the last gen Altima. You have to leave the hamburger in so it doesn't make the trunk look big. I think the tc is kinda the same way with the rear end. For the front end, I would get rid of the emblem.

yea. i'm planning to paint my headlight housing CSM, getting demon eyes, getting invisibulbs, and clear corners, and the scion logo in front of my grill would kill the flow of the front of my car. i still kept my rear scion logo and my tC logo. I dont want to take those off because i'm proud of my scion and my tC. if i got rid of the back, i think that would kill the flow of the back of my car. plus, i like the fact that the logos in the back are silver on a silverish car.

thanks for all the feedback

Me and my homeboy (mostly my homeboy) finished a badgeless grille like yours...but I can't get the bottom of it to sit flush, so I have my stock one on with 'reversed' color emblem...HOW DID YOU GET IT TO SIT FLUSH LIKE THAT?!?!?! HELP ME...I WANT MY GRILLE IN!!!
