Default BBM's TYC Overlays Installed on FM tC. [Photo's Inside]

Just got these babies in the mail today, and installed them right away. Cost was less $25 plus 0.98 to send as a money order.

I'd be lying if I said there was no air bubbles or creases.. but it's an overlay. Not spraypaint. It does it's job of looking badass from a short distance. Quality seems good, and Blue Bat Mobile is friendly as can be. Ordering from him is easier than ordering of ebay, and more fun.

Check out BBM's Overlay Gallery here:

Nice! That's what I want to do. I'm thinking of sending mine to Jonstintedtails. We'll see though I have other parts I'd like to order first.

Good job though.

Like this?

I think that looks pretty good too! The yellow really kills it IMO. As long as something changes on TYCs. Lol.[/i]

Two closer shots. This is my first time installing overlays and I was left with air bubbles and creases. I just couldn't get them to be anymore flat.

They do their purpose of looking bad @$$ from a short distance, so I'm happy.

holy, those TYC lights have veins in them. LOL, can you blowdry them out or something? it looks really nice far away though, i'm thinking about doing something like that. i'm still debating though wether to use nightshade spray or overlays.

i think these overlays are just like tint, once they are put on.. they are a pain to get off and cannot be reapplied. i'm pretty sure he didnt follow the instructions tahts all. cuz you're supposed to push all the air bubbles and blowdry the edges so they stick.

Overlays. You can change up your style if you get sick of it after some time.

I have a diy guide to applying my Overlays in Maintenance and Care Forum. What you wanted to do was work from the middle out. This way the vinyl gets dispersed evenly. Air bubbles can be popped and flattened out with no problems, but it looks like it's a little more complex here. I can work something out for you, email me

Yeah...Im thinking if u have tow ork that hard to get the overlays on perfect (most of us cannot live without perfection) then the best way to buy TYC's is to get em, get the overlayys and put em on before u install the tailights.

Prolly much easier than trying to blow dry outside (for us without garages)

Personally, I think it's much easier applying the Overlays with the taillights mounted onto the car. Better leverage, and you dont have to worry about the taillight moving around when applying the Overlay .
