If you're in California, what is your % on tints for your front side windows?
Has anybody received a ticket for having their front side windows under 70% of tint?

my current tint is 4%


notice the bottom right of my window.FF gets you out of alot of things.

35%/5% front/back

no ticket yet. *knock on wood*

chose 35% on front instead of the 20% i had wanted because i think 35% is a pretty sweet spot where cops don't mind too much... but yeah.. does depend on the cop.

in teXas law is 25% in the front but i couldnt find that, so i just got 35% on the sides. back windows dont matter here.

i got 35% in front and 5% in the back, i've been driving for like 5 years now i haven't gotten pulled over or gotten a ticket yet.

just got a ticket for 5% all the way around. if youre gonna break the law you might as well go all out. ill just pay the fine and be more watchful

%35 sides, rear, sunroofs. More than dark enough, IMO. You can't see in from the outside most of the time.

Tinting the front windows and windsheild is illegal in california anyway, unless you bought the car that way.

2 years, haven't been stopped once for my tint.

'%__' is the percentage of light it lets through, not the darkness of the tint. Not trying to patronize anyone who already knew, just FYI.

i was talking to a police officer and they have a rule of thumb if you cant see the driver they will issue a ticket. Soi went with 20% in the three rear windows then 70% on the front sides

but isnt the law no tint on front at all?? anything in the rear???

yea thats the law but if its really light they wont be able to tell. at a quick glance. Thats what i hope. HAHA.

5% on my back 3 windows... 20% on my front sides. and 40% on my whole windsheild. i had a cop talk to me yesterday actually because i was stopped in a residential street waiting for someone, and it was like 12 am.. he told me just to park the car so i wasnt in the street. he shined his light on me and i rolled my window down to talk to him... didnt take a second notice and kept on going. i thought it was kind of lucky...

Limo...Pretty much impossible to see in from any distance or angle.

I have been pulled over 7 times for it but not 1 ticket yet, just lots of verbal warnings.
