Shot you guys an email, I paid last week but I asked to hold off the shipping until yesterday or today. I am just wondering whats going on with it? Did it ship cause you said tracking number will be provided, and no email yet. Let me know please Thank you Blake

Unfortunately, due to the dimensions of the box that the hoods will be shipped in, they exceed the size allowed by UPS's pickup. As such, they must be shipped via Freight. This is a significant increase, well over $500 for next day! Those involved in the group buy that have paid already will have their hoods shipped today with Next Day shipping for free, but going forward, all hoods will be standard UPS ground for free. We apologize for any inconvience. Please send us a PM or email if you have any questions.
Also, there is a 3-4 Business Day delay on payments received via Paypal and through the Credit Card services. This is to protect us as well as our customers. As soon as your payment has posted to our account, your hood and other items will ship. We've also included a small thank you for buying from us.

Just recieved notice that OEM hoods are on back order till June 12th ...........
Guess I'll be looking to buy else where... *sigh* Great Price and all but ran out after
like 4 were paid and shipped?
I'd wait but I'll be going to 2 shows before the hood is in stock and would like to have one

We were informed yesterday that Extreme Dimensions is on backorder for the OEM Style Hoods until approx. June 10th. The Vader and D1 hoods can still be ordered and shipped however.
Since so many expressed interest in the group buy, we were getting the hoods directly from Extreme Dimensions. Those that paid initially already have their hoods shipped or ready to ship with the exception of one OEM. We tried to hold a hood for each person that included their name in the group buy, but after nearly 13 days and not even a deposit for some of the hoods, it was understandable that Extreme Dimensions would ship those hoods to other retailers at their regular prices.
But on a lighter note, if we were doing the traditional group buy model of waiting until everyone had paid in full, most likely you guys wouldn't have seen your hoods until the end of the summer!
If any hoods come in sooner, we will let everyone know. We apologize for any inconvience. Also the group buy will be closed on Wed.

We have taken photos of the new Vader 2 Hood (and in our opinion, it's an improvement), and we'll be updating the website shortly.

So now there are 3 makers of this style hood. AIT made it first, then Seibon, now Carbon Creations? Or is CC selling the Seibon one, and just marketing it as a CC hood?
Does the CC Vader hood come with a rain cover for the vent. My AIT one does, the Seibon one does not, does the CC one come with one?
