It is more of a cosmetic mod. It’s a way to garnish/dress-up the bumper opening to hide the teeth that the cover attaches to. I drilled holes in my cover to create some air flow.

If the driver’s side duct extended further into the bumper where I could attach a hose/tubing around it (and lead it to a filter or the stock airbox hose), then I’d get it. I believe Doc I made something like this.
Kinda like the duct piping on the right of this photo.

the heatshield is for the bumper... it goes around the exhaust opening

i've always wanted the CF heat shield for the exhaust but why the hell are they so expensive?

its' ok. i'll wait til i get my cf lip kit that way it wont look weird just having a random piece back there since the rest of my cf are mostly interior and then the pillars and what not. thanks for trying to help though!! appreciate it

those healt shield apparently only work on stock bumpers (both version 1 and version 2)

which sucks, a LOT, since a lot of people have problems with the exhaust heat because of having a lip close to it

will be around 250, which is a damn good price compare to most duct from Japan sold for almost $500 a set.
