CF Hatch Install Trim Panel Question.
Installed my cf hatch at local body shop.
They transfered the glass perfectly. And the install was perfect.
One problem that everyone has had with cf hatch was the strut was to powerful and need to use a lower one which i am going to get tomorrow at Napa Auto Parts.
The main thing now is the interior paneling of the car. The body shop said that they did not want to drill the holes because they did not want to be liable if they messed up but the reason for that is that the holes that the panels go into are squares and not the typical circles for anyone who has taken panelings off cars.
I have taken a look at other carbonfiber hatch installs and there only problem mainly was the struts making a gap.
So anyone have any info in how there body shop did it or what they did?

One last thing hawgs did you also change out your struts because they were too strong. Just bought the ones that those guys recommended on the other topic. my car is at the shop and they are putting on panels and seeing what they can do to put the upper ones back on.

andrew you dont wanna do that. then you will have screws all over the place.
the panels clip to one anoter, just take a drill and make some holes for the clips to go into the hatch, time consuming yes, difficult no.

well, the body shop that originally drilled holes for my panels messed up on abasically ALL of them, so they just glued the panels. they were easy to take off which was weird. but anyways, that's all i have to do with my panels (put them back on)... though i am kinda getting used to/liking the gut look. lol
