Default Complete PIAA Plasma ION Yellow Lighting Set

I got rid of the 8000k HID set and decided to get a complete PIAA ION Yellow set to match the ones I have in my VRD Foglights... One of my PolarG parking lights also burned out in the highbeam's, so I replaced those as well with the PIAA ION's... It's REALLY yellow ... I wasn't sure at first if I was going to like it, especially with the price tag on the H11's ... Check them out, I think it turned out pretty sweet ...

Ignore the clear bulbs in the H3's, those are the ones that came with the VRD's

Parking Lights:

Parking and Foglights:

All on:

Close Up:

Distance from inside car:

Wall Shots:

I'm happy with the way everything turned out ...

Haha, ya the dark pictures with the yellow lights does look freaky... My camera sucks too, really need to buy a new one... I thought it might be something different, not too many tC's I've seen like this, or any car for that matter... I got bored with the HID's, I may throw them up here and sell them in the future, still thinking about that though...

well...the temp is probably around the 2500k range so output is reduced. i also had a similar setup before and it worked out fine. i pesronally find it harder to see with 7000-8000k lights...

Yep, it's just as good as normal halogen lamps... They are 55w each, also like normal halogen bulbs... It's nowhere near what my 8000k HIDs were, but it's just as good as factory intensity... Also, like I said, my camera really sucks ...

Ya, they are exactly 2500k... I got sick of the HID's because every freaking car in my area with an aftermarket HID set had 8000k bulbs... It was starting to get really played out, and 4300k is a factory color... So I went down to 2500k ...

Thanks, they hit the wallet nicely too... The Fogs were $56.00, the 168/194's were $16.00, and the H11's I saw in the store for $90.00 - but I got them on Amazon for ~$60.00... The whole kit was about $132.00-ish, that's a lot for halogen's ...

Looks cool, the fogs and parking lights are cool the headlights are over doing it imo. I remember when honda's and acura's used to rock those yellow headlight bulbs, that was a while back though. Good thing you dont live in Cali, otherwise you'd be pulled over almost instantaneously lol.

^Hmmm, that's interesting... I didn't think the yellow ones would be illegal... I passed by a few cops tonight, they didn't seem to mind, and cops over here get you for anything...

I dunno... It was a cheaper route for similar results each HID bulb is $99 from my brand (Xetronic) -> http://www.xtralights.com/index.asp?...ROD&ProdID=130 ... I may do that in the future, I still have great Digital Ballasts just need the 3k Bulbs... This will do for now

How good are they though?... I bought HID bulbs in that price range once and they lasted not even 6 months before the capsule turned all black and wouldn't start anymore... The one's I just took out I had for almost a year, and they're great, the capsules aren't even cloudy...
