Default Cons of cheap ebay h11 halogen bulbs?

Good evening scionlife users,

Being a cheap ___ like i am, (sorry for the language) i purchased an H11 Xenon Plasam Blue bulbs on ebay. They were very cheap, 8$ + 9$ for s&h. Its 10000k 12v/55w Halogen Lamp.

Thing is, they were so cheap, now that i received them i'm afraid that they might burn my headlight frame after using them for a while...

I did not purchase the HID kit, just the bulbs. Them being so cheap, you think that they might be bad for my projector headlights?

PS: I own a 2008 scion tC RS 4.0

Thanks in advance,

Thamer

um, there is no such thing as HID halogen bulb, its simply a marketing technique that they use to make them seem good

like everyone else said, they will burn out very quickly, maybe even on the first time! LOL

just buy a true HID kit from mobile HID, or Oznium, or other sellers on SL, there are a bunch of vendors on here with good prices!

dont be a ricer and put HID's in the stock reflector housing, you will ____ off everyone on the road and people will laugh at you ... HID's are for retro.

Just buy Nokya or Luminics bulbs.

The 08's are "HALOGEN projectors" ... not "HID projectors" like the ones that come stock in Lex, Benz, BMW, etc.

Retro FTW.

Are you serious???
My MobileHID 6000k kit looks incredible in my '08 projectors.

Just as good as any Lex, Benz, BMW, etc. I see on the road...

then get in a car with good hid projector and tell me that again. do not get in the older 350z or audi tt those suck

i know my porche boxter s projectors kill any kit in a reflector or projector, they have width, most hid projectors are eggish shaped not round like halogen projecrors.

upgrade to mobileHID 50w HID kit and you get a cutoff similar to the standard hid projector.

I've got some HID like H11 bulbs for sale if you want a higher quality bulb

I used em for 6 months with no problem

here are pics showing how white they are and the blue tint they get at certain angles

Anyway, if you don't want to get HIDs, the downsides to getting those eBay lamps is that they really might not be able to bright and will probably not last too long.
