Default Convex Mirrors... No More Available.

EDIT - NO MORE LEFT!

I am way to lazy to wait for a mod to unlock the old thread but I have an update!!! For those 47 of you who participated in the purchase of the quite awesome blue tinted mirrors... looky what I was sent.
Hey Alex,

Here is a pic of the prototype pair of the tc mirror lenses they are in the making as we speak. Leave me your number and i will give you a call when we recive the batch for you...

Best regards,
Tony Nguyen
TEAM APR

and before anyone asks about the writing on the mirror...

They will have the writing on them like the one i have here. all the convex lenses are required to have the writing by law, because it object you see in the mirror are really farther than they look in the mirror...

Best regards,
Tony Nguyen

Just out of curiosity... why would you want them? You know if you properly adjust the stock mirrors, there are zero blind spots right? (There is a trick to it that works on most cars actually). And then stuff in the mirror is not closer than it appears I can see someone on either side of me at any spot without looking back over my shoulder.

I have my mirrors adjusted quite nicely too... I never really knew what these were for. Someone care to explain?

I'm mostly getting them because of the tint. They're not as effective as electro-chromatic mirrors, but it's the next best thing.

ahh.. ok. I was thinking it was for the convex part.

On a side note, my 96 saturn has a convex mirror on the right side... funny thing is that it is the car I cant really adjust the blind spots out of

I've gotten into a habit of always checking over my shoulder anyway so it's not much of a big deal for me . What I'm surprised they haven't thought of, was an angled mirror..something subtle, like having the inside part of the mirror looking down the side of the car, then the outside half angled at about 20 degrees.

ive got cataracts and wearing sunglasses at night is not the greatest idea... plus you get an even wider viewing angle which never hurts.

What's the trick? I just use trial-and-error until I get them where I like them.
