05- no they arent just blue mirrors. they eliminate blind spots. they enable you to have a wider range of view (at least the driver side does, i havent put on the passenger side). by the time a a car is out of the mirror you can already see it next to you. no blind spot

for those with broken mirrors... you have to bear with me until all mirrors are accounted for. You should bring your mirrors to your local USPS office and ask them about getting the insurance money for them.

no problem on bearing with you... i just wanted to know how to proceed from here. I will go down to the USPS and ask them how to deal with it? what should i ask for in the insurance because the passenger side is fine but the driver's side is broken.

hold onto the non broken one... bring the broken one to them. Ask them what they need for the claim to go through and while that happens I will try my best to locate replacements for those whose sets don't come complete. I can not help you out with replacements until next week when all sets that have been sent out so far have been accounted for.

Hey Alex,

Do you think you can help with the this requirement?

2. Evidence of value, such as a sales receipt (if applicable), invoice or bill of sale, or statement of costs for reconstruction of Express
Mail service documents. Either the mailer or addressee may furnish evidence of value. For Internet purchases, a copy of the front
and the back of the canceled check, money order, or a copy of the credit card billing statement is required. If the purchase was
made using an Internet account, a final or complete transaction sheet indicating the amount deducted from the account is
required.

Still have not had the guts to install these the replacement way. Phanon_TC did you put them on top? Will they def. have a gap if I put them on without the trade?

I don't want mine to "look" like they are covers but I really don't want to do the swap myself and rick breaking the mirrors.

so if I do it right without doing the full swap will there def. be a small gap showing the OEM mirror below the Convex Blue no matter what?

I just stuck them on top, as long as you get it lined up right you won't be able to tell they are on top of the originals, you can't see any of the original mirror behind it. Unless you're specifically looking for whether or not they are stick-ons you won't be able to tell. And I doubt most people look at mirrors that closely.

Getting them lined up just right can be tricky though. My driver side one is perfect but my passenger side is like a fraction of an inch lower than where I'd like it, but you still can't tell. Whatever, they work.

yeah, there will be a gap no matter what if you stick them on top because the mirror is obviously curved. if you want, you can swing by my pad tomorrow and i can help you bake and do the full swap. PM me.

Dude, I had the passenger mounted when I saw you this weekend! You could have seen the comparison in person.

nothing is for sale as of now... we have had a couple mirrors break and I would like to replace them rather then sell more if possible.
