Default Custom Grille Help - install

Ok so i designed and cut a gutter guard grille that fits as a perfect overlay over the stock grille. I removed the scion emblem in the front so nothing is bulging out and it fits semi-flush. I don't want to remove the stock grille because that is more work than needed, more of a chance or breaking something, and would like to be able to go back to stock easy if it is needed. I have everything ready to put it on, but i can't seem to figure out how to get it to stay. I tried fishing line and tying the two grilles together, didn't work. Zip ties either weren't long enough or the large clamp end of it wouldn't fit through the gutter guard. I need some help. How did you guys do it? any ideas

If the zip ties aren't long enough, u could always get longer ones or piggy back the zip ties to make em longer. Looks a lil mickey-moused but it works lol.

lots of people have this. Don't post because you don't like the look. I like it much better than the stock black grille on my IIP. Thanks for your input though.

OK, I have no idea what this is 1st hand, but I have an idea, however Mickey Mouse it may be.

Chain zip ties together. Feed the small end through one side and close it. Feed another zip tie small end through the other side and zip it closed connected to the other zip tie loop. Hokey, I know. I don't know if it will even work in your situation.
