just sand it down a bit then primer it then paint then clearcoat if you want. but its suggested so that the paint wont peel and stuff when bugs hit it.

Here are my emblems. Flat black w/ white lettering + some clear coat

I sanded with a fine sand paper cuz its all I had. I didnt use any primer. Then I hit it with 5 coats of flat black. Then I used model paint and a fine brush to do the letters. And finally, I hit it with 5 coats of clearcoat. Ta-da. I did them in April and they still look great.

^^I used the double sided tape from pepboys to put mine back on. I have a question tho, a bit of paint on my emblem was scratched off, can i just repaint over it or do i have to remove all the paint first?

i used blowdryers and floss/fishing line to take it off. Do it slow and nicely. Dont try to just pull them off cuz u might damage ur body paint... scion paint isnt that great -_-

I used an adhesive remover that I got from a friend that worked as a detailer. But I've heard a heatgun will work as well.

And be patient with the floss, so you dont EFF up your paint.

Just spray some paint in a cup and touch it up with a fine-tipped paint brush. Just be carefull with whatever cup you use because most aresol paints will eat through styrofoam or those thin plastic cups. I used a dixie cup and it didn't melt.

Get a screwdriver and cover it in cloth so you dont scratch the paint. Pry the emblem up a lil to get it started and then continue heating it with the blow dryer and pull it off slowly. It's not hard. Someone did it for me while I was in the store and left two little scratches...bastards.

YES.. I know they're girly.. but I AM a girl. They look a lot prettier in person, it's really hard to get a good picture of them.
