damn i didnt even need a DIY when i did mine. just take a dremel and hack at it, my method wasnt this complicated though.

The grille you did in the pic was cutting the center logo out of the upper grille, and made a piece to fit from a lower grill. You didn't cut the whole upper grille out correct?

^ its been posted in his previous grill thread, the one in these pics is uncut except for the oval center which was then filled with an oval cutout of a lower grill.

alright... for some clarification the pics is just an example. im merely showing what to do. As mention also on my original post i have made about 8 different version of a badgeless grill and i thought my idea of this version would be the CLEANEST and EASIEST. the one on my car is the hardest version where i cut out the center and molded a new piece. i know plenty of people asked for a diy from me so im just tryna help out. you guys can do it the way you want it. but i know plenty of others who has no clue how one can be done. been doing one like this for almost 3-4 years.
