Default DDM tuning install issues (no power)

Hey everyone,

Finally got my HIDs today I installed the first one (passanger side) no issues, it powered up in conjuction with the stock headlight on the driver side. After removing the driver side and installing the HID in there I ran into a few issues.

First off I snapped on of the plastic tabs off that allow the HID to screw in place..I hope this is not an issue? Secondly, they wont power up now...I am running a relay as well.

I tried hooking up the stock bulbs back(but not mounting them in the headlight) and they wont light up either. Do they need to be inserted into the headlight to work?

First time messing with headlights and such..

No issues, just took some patience and logical thinking to figure that one out on my end.

So happy with these.

i couldn't get mine to work with the relay. im sending it back. and yes ive installed hids three times on tc's all with relays and i understand DDM's stupid reverse polarity. anyways they have the worst customer service...well service all around. first it was back ordered 3 weeks, so they took my mounting brakets off my order and send me slims in replacement of my order. note that they didn't contact me be before making this move.now im trying to get a replacement or actually a return of my relay(already bought another off ebay) but they gavew me a ticket i need to activate online. now that would be nice if the link they sent me in my email wasnt broken, also try clicking the support link on their site, broken as well.

^^ Seems like an isolated problem my friend... I have been getting HIDs from DDM for years. Never an issue with me, any of my friends... Or really anyone even on the forums. Maybe the problem is you?

i have DDM Tuning kits on all cars... could be since they are moving to a larger warehouse and reworking their inventory. they might be moving out of the HID business and work more with LEDs
