DDM Tuning Vs HIDExtra
#23
I have over 60+ orders with HIDxtra and haven't had not one major issue with them at all. There was only one case where an item failed but they replaced it for free within 2 days. There hids cost $39.99 the $13.69 to ship to my location so a difference of $6.32 doesn't seem like a great deal to me. Plus the fact of having to wait at max 10 days just for processing?!?! that's a bit ridiculous i think.
I'll stick with HIDxtra with 60+ orders and counting with 2 day shipping and excellent customer service.
But to each their own.

"Bulbs sold come with the industry standard Amphenol type connectors. Since we have no way of knowing which ballasts these bulbs may be attached to, we can only offer a 1 year warranty on separate bulb sales. Even so, these are the SAME bulbs contained in our Lifetime Warrantied DDM Kits."

The issue with pictures of headlights, specifically HID's is that every camera/persons eyes are different. The 5000K I have in my WRX are fairly blue tinted, and so was the same with my other 2 vehicles. I have used the same brand for all 3 vehicles. While to others it may appear whiter/bluer what have you.
The difference the 35w vs 55w has is the 55 is obviously brighter. To some the difference is noticeable,to others not at all.
Did you happen to check and make sure you ordered/received the 5000K bulbs?

I have a Nikon D90 and went crazy taking pics of my HIDextra 35w 5000k kit to give a good perspective of the color and brightness. As I have said before color looks great, but brightness is not adequate and it seems to be more blue than for 5000k as I had expected. Opinions and comments please!

be careful with them, hidextra sent my friend the wrong bulbs. they were suppose to be 5k but what he got was probably 8k because they are ricey blue!! the bulbs werent even marked so they probably dont even know what they send out. lol
some of these 5k's look really blue, that's why i would only roll 4300k!
