DDM Tuning Vs HIDExtra

yea, I have been happy with my 3bspec kit, had it for I think 3 years with no problems. I dont care if I payed more then some of these people are advertising stuff, of course when I bought mine, most kits cost more than they do now since they were't as popular.

Hidextra bulbs have the bulb model right by the little plate that locks into you headlight housing. Just installed new bulbs yesterday. Its printed on the shrink tubing-like piece by the light
I have hidextra and their ok. Old high beams kept wanting to flicker after 8 mths or so. Just replaced the kit yesterday. If i did it again id probably do some more research to find a better kit.

be careful with them, hidextra sent my friend the wrong bulbs. they were suppose to be 5k but what he got was probably 8k because they are ricey blue!! the bulbs werent even marked so they probably dont even know what they send out. lol
some of these 5k's look really blue, that's why i would only roll 4300k!

I've had my hidextra 6k hids on for 2 years with no relay and they're still great. I've driven with them on for 9+ hrs twice when I drove from the bay area to vegas. Probably later on I'll switch to a 4300k kit offered by meng motorsports, but the hidextras are still running strong.

The box says ...PN111 and I actually received bulbs labeled...PN111(supposedly the real 5000k)
PN112 on passenger side and PN111 on driver side

Here's some pics of my hidextra 6k from my cell phone, not the best. Also its not as blue as it looks in person. And I think the thread has enough good reviews from both ddm tuning and hidextra to considered both of them as good buys, so just buy from whoever you like.

I just installed the HIDextra 35w 5000k and they work and look just fine. I got a deal on cyber Monday, but I get the feeling the DDMtuning for cheaper is just the same. I asked a buddy of mine and he has installed numerous ddmtuning and recommends them. I am about to place an order for 2 friends and 4500k bulbs for myself to see how they they are.

HIDeXtra 5000k vs. DDM tuning 5000k on HIDextra ballasts
HIDeXtra 5000k vs. DDM tuning 5000k on HIDextra ballasts
The 5000k bulbs I received from HIDextra are more crystal blue then the ddm tuning bulbs, which seem to give off a tint of yellow. The HIDextra seems to be brighter even though it has more of blue tint and/or actual higher kelvin. The overall look of the HIDextra is better. The bulbs from DDM also do not have a real connector to stock harness, but instead has the two metal ends for the positive and negative. My brother in law got the whole DDM kit and the ballasts are definitely thicker then my HIDextra ballasts.

I've had ddm and mobile hid. Mobile hid was great and had great customer service but unfortunately they went under. I just went through a replacement process with ddm and they are slow slow SLOW! And I had to pay for the shipping to send my defective ballast to them. Then they had the manufacturer send me a new one from CHINA. Took forever. I wish I hadn't ordered though them. They give you a lifetime warranty because they have horrible customer service that most people most likely won't go through the process.
It took three weeks of me putting in rma forms for them to get back to me. I had to file it under urgent request to get any response.

They have really good/reliable products but their customer service SUCKS. I have been to their store in huntington beach - the workers look like they hate their lives lol.
