Diamond plating, interesting. Very creative, not my cup of tea personally. I think it looks great on the sides of modified Jeeps for offroading, but looks a little out of place in the engine bay of a tC. Way to think outside the box though and if you like it, that's all that really matters, not to mention it must feel good to have something on your car that YOU created and know that nobody else has. BTW, the rest of your engine bay is BEAUTIFUL!!!

Hey, it needs to be off road tough at the speeds these TC's run, it has to be hurrican force winds commin in.

Well, for $10....I had to try. I'll wait and see how it turns out finished. I have some black edge protector trim that I will use for the edges and latch opening. I will say in real life...it sure has bling.

As a theme tho, we do have it in the rear with 2 amps, cross overs and a cap mounted to it.

I actually think it looks really nice. Great job for doing something original. Definitely bling, but definitely something I'd consider for my engine bay as well.

On a side note though, what engine dress-up kit did you use on your tC? My car is Indigo Ink Pearl and I'd love to get my hands on some metallic blue tubing similar to yours.

Picked it up at O'reilly Auto Parts. They have them in Northern Illinois. Call'em up.
