Does anybody have info about this lip kit?

yea what he said you might have to take a heat gun and flex it straight. because its made of polyurethane its super flexible so you shouldnt have any issue flex it to where its straight. i didnt really have that issue so i can say for sure i know how it is. mine were abs plastic so pretty much already had its shape to were it went.

What about laying the skirts outside on the sidewalk for an hour or two, and then run it inside while it's still warm and fit it up to the car. Would this be a good start? The "tech" at the company I bought the kit from said the reason he was able to get a set of these skirts to fit to a scion tc and the shop where I live wasn't it because they were installing them outside in the hot sun. This sounds logical, right?

Yea you could do that but its going to take longer cause it has to be a really hot ___ day for it to be somewhat flexible to bend it.With the heat gun its faster and you don't have to be running back and forth like a maniac to get to the car.

alright, the guys at the body shop say these skirts are defective and the seller is going to give me a refund for the skirts. Can someone on here PLEASE help me find some skirts!!! I'm not too picky, they just cannot be stock(OEM). I have the same front lip and rear lip as the pics I first posted on page#1. I've been on ebay and googled some skirts but I'm just not seeing anything yet that catches my eye. If any of you have side skirts that fitted well without major modifications, then I'd be more likely to go with them as long as I can get them from the same seller or company as you did. Please, any suggestions appreciated. My car is not sitting at the bodyshop and they're waiting on me to get something going so they can get my car finished. Thanks

Sorry but I think their wrong to think these are defective cause I think doing what i suggested would've worked. But hey if you're getting a full refund go ahead. But then again you do know there is no kit that's perfect without doing at least something to it no matter what it is.

but to be honest like thegame said. his way could have worked seeing as he has the same ones. im sure it worked for him. just maybe the bodyshop doesnt know exactly what they are doing maybe. but

just go with some rs1 sideskirts. i got my side skirts from racing solutions cause i couldnt fine them on ebay at the time. they didnt fit great at first. but i removed the rear mudflap in front of the rear wheel and they fit great. had no issues installing. took me 30 mins to install on my own. i suggest you go with there skirts if you dont want to mod them as little as possible or at all.

so after you took your mud flap off, they fit directly on your car? NO heating them or bending them to fit? Just tape them up along the top and screw them in at the fender wells? Do these side skirts attach at the bottom to your factory skirts also, or do the bottoms of the skirts just sit and hang freely?

yea once i took the mudflap off. they just pushed into place and i taped and screwed them down. no heating or anything they should just slide into place. and on the bottom there is a bunch of tabs that the stock sideskirt i guess slide into the rs1 just slid right into those with the stock one. didnt have any issues installing mine, i installed the front, rear, sides in about 1 hour no issues the side skirts actually were the easiest part.

Also here man here's a little DIY that helped me out installing the side skirts that i used as reference, to make sure I was doing to do it right.

^^^ well i dont if they are called mudflaps, but everyone i have talked to has called them mudflaps. but they are mounted in the rear only right in front of each wheels right where the sideskirt is. they only held on by one screw, they are rubber things that are just mounted there. i had to take these things off in order for my side skirt to push all the way back. and that DIY is what i used to install my stuff,
but these are what im talking about. found a pic of them on here.

this is where its mounted at taken from that tutorial. this is what i had to remove for mine to fit right. cause it was stoping them from pushing all the way back like they were suppose to.
