There are a lot of people on here that think the pedestal spoiler is ugly, I think so too. Also I have heard that it limits visibility out of the rear window, even the salesman told me that when I bought my car. The lip spoiler just looks cleaner.

no I don't think it look more aggressive, I really just don't like spoilers that stick up like that. But it is your car man so if you like it go for. I am not sure about the ebay one though, hopefully someone will chime in that has it.

Tnx for the opinion DJ09tc.. I might consider that in mind.. THis is my 1st car so i want to make it looks nice...
I hope someone here bought their spoiler on ebay.. and share their exp... BTW they also carry oem lip spoiler.. so if anyone bought that instead.. share your exp..

no problem, also with the pedestal you have to drill holes in the trunk to mount it, with the lip spoiler you don't have too. You can just use double sided tape so if you want to take it off in the future you can and you wont have holes.

i love how a simple word "style" allows an ebay or any seller to sell you a knockoff replica..
"OEM style" pretty much equates to "OEM replica" and does not mean that it is indeed an OEM spoiler.
i'd keep my distance

from the pics.. it looks like they stole a pic of a vehicle with an actual oem spoiler..
lovely how plenty of ebay items and photos are pictures of something other than their actual product and what they're selling you.

Spend the extra and get the legit thing, with exact matching paint. The eBay knockoff actually sits higher than the real ped spoiler, and it looks horrific.

I feel the need to make the obligatory "do what you like" for your own car. I like the pedestal spoiler and think it adds a nice touch to the backside of the car. Clearly not everyone agrees, but I've seen plenty of tCs in my area with it, so you're not alone if you think it looks good!
With that said, if I was back to stock, I'd probably get the Viniati (G35 replica) spoiler, that looks pretty sick.

If you're looking to get the pedestal spoiler, just trade hatches with someone locally that already has it in your color, because there's usually a few out there that would be willing to trade you hatches, sometimes for free.
You should be able to find someone that wants to get rid of their spoiler, but they prob don't want to have to pay a shop to fill in the holes and repaint. If you swap with them, they get a hatch with no spoiler and no holes, and you get the spoiler you want.
It takes about two or three hours and you'll need a two extra guys to help you carry the hatch from one car to the other. This way you'll get the spoiler you want for very cheap (or free) and it's the actual OEM spoiler, not some shady knockoff.
Don't forget to get the shocks if you swap hatches... the ones for the spoiler-equipped cars are different from the non-spoiler-equipped models.
