IIRC, some had problems with the paint fadding/matching. also, get the lip spoiler. stay away from the pedestal.

There are a lot of people on here that think the pedestal spoiler is ugly, I think so too. Also I have heard that it limits visibility out of the rear window, even the salesman told me that when I bought my car. The lip spoiler just looks cleaner.

no I don't think it look more aggressive, I really just don't like spoilers that stick up like that. But it is your car man so if you like it go for. I am not sure about the ebay one though, hopefully someone will chime in that has it.

no problem, also with the pedestal you have to drill holes in the trunk to mount it, with the lip spoiler you don't have too. You can just use double sided tape so if you want to take it off in the future you can and you wont have holes.

i love how a simple word "style" allows an ebay or any seller to sell you a knockoff replica..

"OEM style" pretty much equates to "OEM replica" and does not mean that it is indeed an OEM spoiler.

i'd keep my distance

from the pics.. it looks like they stole a pic of a vehicle with an actual oem spoiler..

lovely how plenty of ebay items and photos are pictures of something other than their actual product and what they're selling you.

Sure, the replica looks exactly like the OEM, but the paint is a slight shade off and appears to be cheaply done. I have a friend who bought a lip spoiler for his tC on ebay and was very disappointed at the paint.

Spend the extra and get the legit thing, with exact matching paint. The eBay knockoff actually sits higher than the real ped spoiler, and it looks horrific.

I feel the need to make the obligatory "do what you like" for your own car. I like the pedestal spoiler and think it adds a nice touch to the backside of the car. Clearly not everyone agrees, but I've seen plenty of tCs in my area with it, so you're not alone if you think it looks good!

With that said, if I was back to stock, I'd probably get the Viniati (G35 replica) spoiler, that looks pretty sick.

its does limit some but not much. I do find it helpful at night though. When I come to a light and people drive right on my bumper, the spoiler blocks out their headlights from hitting my rear view mirror which is great since i dont get blinded from it.

it comes down to preference, some like it some dont, its your car so do what you like. that is the only opinion that matters.

i agree to stay away from ebay on this one, you want quality

^^The salesman told me that, so I can't really say. I really didn't think it would limit it that much. I have 18% tint so that helps me at night.

If you're looking to get the pedestal spoiler, just trade hatches with someone locally that already has it in your color, because there's usually a few out there that would be willing to trade you hatches, sometimes for free.

You should be able to find someone that wants to get rid of their spoiler, but they prob don't want to have to pay a shop to fill in the holes and repaint. If you swap with them, they get a hatch with no spoiler and no holes, and you get the spoiler you want.

It takes about two or three hours and you'll need a two extra guys to help you carry the hatch from one car to the other. This way you'll get the spoiler you want for very cheap (or free) and it's the actual OEM spoiler, not some shady knockoff.

Don't forget to get the shocks if you swap hatches... the ones for the spoiler-equipped cars are different from the non-spoiler-equipped models.

There's different shocks? I should get those, the hatch barely stays up with the Kami wing lol.
