Exterior paint debate
I'm having an internal debate at the moment, I plan on changing the paint on my TC pretty soon but am stuck between 2 color so I'm hoping y'all can help me and steer me toward a better decision. The two color up in debate right now are a FLAT BLACK paint scheme, or a red paint scheme. The red would probably be custom because I dont like some reeds that are too bright or look orange in the sun I would have to have omething mixed up I really wanted a red one when I first got it but the TC don't come in that color. Black is okay but i didnt want ordinary black but I love the FLAT BLACK it looks clean. So please give me some insight.[/img][table:3402ffca09][/table:3402ffca09][table:3402ffca09][/table:3402ffca09]

I think you have difficult options. That is... I don't think flat black would look very good on the tC - I'm just guessing on that though, b/c I don't think I've actually seen it.
As for the red, also consider the RS 1.0 tC was "Absolutely Red" and you might end up with people getting confused by it or thinking you're impersonating an RS 1.0 or something. Not that you would be, but again, it's supposed to be a "special edition" kind of color for the tC.
I would be curious to see the tC in flat black though.

Flat black is INCREDDDDDDDDDDDDDIBLY difficult to take care of, & expensive. First off, rock chips are inevitable & look terrible, & with that comes touch ups, you'll never get an exact touch up match on flat paint. Secondly, how do intend on washing the car?

Looks awesome but wouldn't want the hassle of keeping it clean. I am pretty sure it show finger prints easily and all that stuff kisskisskill said.

Go red. I am probably saying this since red is one of my favorite colors. I wanted a red tC when I bought my car, but I didn't like the red that they had. I liked the red they had on the RS.
My brother has a Jeep Grand Cherokee in Inferno Red, I love it. When it is all waxed up and in the sun it is amazing.
Matte/flat finishes are nice. They look sick if they are maintained and have the right set of wheels and such. but I always like something that I can put a good coat of wax on and show it off on a nice day.
PS the darker the color you go the harder it will be to wax your car due to the fact that white wax will stick in the chips spots on the hood and such. The other thing is finger prints (don't think this effects matte/flat finish or not) and dust.

I don't think it looks good matte black, but if you like it, go for it, but it's definitely not something you wanna rock on a daily driver. Like I said, touchups won't ever match no matter how good the painter is, & you can't clear bra it cuz clear bra = glossy.
p.s. that girls makeup reminds me of Amy Winehouse =/, her eye color's gorgeous though.

i don't like matte colors. Cause i like shiney cars. but i saw in your other thread that you wanted the same body kit as cynce's(sp) car. so if you go red.. o.o it would look identical-ish?
