The Kaminari is the only spoiler so far that looks good and maches the shape of the tC. The lip also looks good but it's not a spoiler and it's too overpriced.

 

hey maybe, but whatever effect the spoiler may or may not have another question is at what speed do any benefits actually kick in? i'm also assuming the OEM spoiler doesn't make the hatch lid too heavy to stay open. some trunk spoilers do that, kinda funny.

 

hey does anyone have pictures of the kaminari spoiler in its 2 different positions? i hear about it but i have never seen what the difference is between the two.....

i really dig the pedestal spoiler and this is my first car with any type of wing. i think the butt definitely needs something. i think it fits and is not obnoxious at all.

and i don't understand the people here who say it adds 35hp...mine definitely adds 45whp...so maybe you guys need it dyno tuned??

Everyone's tastes are different. I like the Pedestal spoiler better than the lip spoiler but the TC can be personalized so...................

 

I don't really like any other spoiler on the tC unless it's the Kaminari Wing. When my Dad got the car for me, he ordered the pedestal and I didn't know what it looked like until I went online and saw it. For about a year and a half I didn't know what to do, so instead I spent money on power mods and some cosmetics. Only NOW I'm actually starting to take things a lil more seriously, by researching over and over and waiting until I feel it is the right time to buy ANYTHING for the car.

So just last week, I started looking at the Kaminari Wing (Non-adjustable, carbon fiber blade) and thought to myself, "it's time to get rid of the pedestal spoiler" and so I ordered it on Monday of this week and Kaminari are the BEST people to order from. It was delivered to me TODAY and I'm going to the bodyshop tomorrow to see how much it'll cost to paint it, remove my current spoiler and fill the holes and paint over it and install my Kaminari wing.

In my opinion, there is no other spoiler out there that's good for the tC, the Kaminari Wing is the best. I personally HATE lip spoilers cuz if ur gonna get a "spoiler" get a real one, not something that just "sticks" out a little bit. As for the antenna, the S2k one is the way to go, the stock one makes the car look HORRIBLE!

 

I have to totally disagree with this thread, the pedestal spoiler looks AWESOME on the TC. It is sleek and gives it the agressive look, it is my opinion but the pics speak for themselves

I feel like something is missing when I see a tC without one.
the back end is just to blah without it.
Sorry, I'm jaded as I have one too, but I picked THAT tC because it looked better to me.

 

Love the color, love the rims, love the red calipers, love the ride height, love the tyc tails, etc etc etc....spoiler ruins the whole car. sorry bro, just my opinion. Dont get me wrong, its still a beauty, but the pedistal really brings it down and would look much better with a lip, aftermarket spoiler, or nada IMO

 

I do like how the pedestal looks on that black ride there, however I know a girl who has one on a SW and I totally think it looks nasty. So I think color may have something to do with it. I like the lip, but i plan on getting it in an accent color like black or carbon fiber due to it really not standing out enough.

 

I have the lip i think it looks great, i like the pedestal a lot to but it looks weird on a tC that doesst have the factory lip kit it pops to much.

 

is there a new pedestal spoiler on the 07's? The one I've seen on every thing since 05 is the only oem pedestal spoiler on any car I've ever really thought looked right with the body lines.
...not my cup of tea but still far from ugly imho.

 

pedestal is better choice than any aftermarket wing.

Nah! This pedestal spoiler looks more fit for Pontiacs rather than on tC's.

To each to their own.
