I tried searching but nothing showed up. I'm pretty sure everyone has the issue of their black window trim fading - what can I do to fix and restore it?

Mine still looks new. There was a post about this not too long ago. I'm guessing your car is in the sun a lot? The solution would be to just have it replaced. It's just vinyl.

is it really? i mean i read that but its just regular vinyl? hmm... yeah im in the florida heat and after 3 years its pretty gross now.

aghhh finally someone with the same problem as me.... i live in florida and mine was fading at first just like yours probably and i didnt pay it any mind at all i thought it would just stay a faded black...NO!!! it only gets worse from here it will turn to straight rust! my whole black trim is now brown and rusty and i took it to the scion dealership yesterday and asked them what i could do and they said its the rain and sun that eats away at the vinyl and that at least twice a month you should armor all the trims around the windows and you will be good to go....well now 80 dollars later getting my trim refixed i know armor all it all the time lol good luck
