I'm interested in fibreglass eyelids, preferrably paint matched.

Why did you choose fiberglass eyelids over the other kinds? I've been looking for eyelids as well, but whats the advantage?

 

Well the vinyl is a sticker while the fibreglass is a harder material that has to be molded to fit the headlight just right. In the end I think it will give it a cleaner look. I've seen vinyl stickers on lights before and up close you can see that it's a sticker.

Not to mention I hate putting vinyl on curved surfaces.

They're about the same price too

Well thanks guys, its going to be fiberglass for me. I could always paint them to match my car. Any of you guys have aftermarket projector headlights, and how do the eyelids look on them?

 

I'ld make sure these fit on whatever aftermarket headlights you have.

Good choice in going with something other than vinyl. It will look more like the car
instead of looking like a sticker. (That's my personal preference.)

 

I bought the Eagle Eyes Projector lights. They look really good. Had them installed. The right side started giving problems, but they are sending a replacement. The left side is perfect. I do not think it is electrical because its practically a new car. Owned it brand new less than a year. I wanted eyelids to add a finishing touch. I actually just painted a set in FM for FokiaPaulino and he got them the other day.

 

How do you like them? Any guess as to how much it would cost to paint them BSP? Difficulty of install? I assume they were easy to put on

NIA has these new eyelids they are made out of fiberglass.

 

^^Those eyelids are fugly IMHO. They do not flow with the clean lines of the tC.
But hey, it's not my car so he can do what he wants.

 

Do those NIA ones come painted? I emailed them but never got a response.
